This is my Christmas gift for Grandmom.  Shhh… don’t tell!  She asked me to make her a set of handmade stationery.  I put together 20 cards for her & chose the theme for the stationery as being “Purple flowers” (iris, lilac, thistle, pansy).   The really fun part was that I set an artistic challenge for myself to try and express the feel of these flowers without actually using the color purple.  Just the thing I needed to get my confidence up after being in an artistic slump for a number of months!  I really enjoyed this project — hopefully more to come.
